IR-5 The Leaf River IR-5 is becoming one of the more versatile cameras on the market today. This camera is highly programmable and can be utilized in many different environments.With a comparably fast 1.6 second trigger the IR-5 shows that Leaf River is committed to improving over previous generations. By having a faster trigger time, you can be confident that once you place your camera in place, the IR-5 will be hard pressed to miss a fast moving animal. By utilizing a wide detection zone the IR-5 is capable of taking pictures of those stubborn animals that tend to stay on the edges of your detection zones. Camera's with narrow detection zones cannot compete as they will only take pictures of animals that are directly in front of the camera. One of the cons of this model is you cannot simply set it up and begin to take pictures. You must read the manual in order to get the unit set up. The reason for this is as with most game trail cameras on the market today, the IR-5 has a multitude of settings. The IR-5 enables you too preview your pictures taken by incorporating a nice size 1.6" viewing screen.
