Moultrie Game Spy I-60 Infrared Flash Game Camera with Built-In Viewer

I was really impressed with this camera... I raise chickens and had a
marauder stealing hens from the coop. I could never find any evidence of
what the thief was until I installed the Moultrie Game Spy 6.0. The first
night out, in total darkness, it caught the culprit on video... it was a
Bobcat!! I have since installed an electric fence to keep it out.
The Moultrie 6.0 is very easy to setup and use. I highly recommend it. I
have used it several times to video wildlife. Once they're on video, I
can easily connect the 6.0 to my TV and show family and friends what's
out there.

Purchased this unit less than three weeks ago after extensive online research on the subject. After only one night in the field, LCD display quit working. There is no question it is a defective product. It really angers me that such an expensive unit should fail in this way. Called Moultrie right afterwords, bit of a wait on getting through to the help line, thats nothng unusual . Once through, the help was quite good. The customer service / technician instructed me to send it to them and they would send back a new one. Good job, Moultrie customer care. I will update once the replacement arrives.

I was disappointed right from the 1st time I used the Moultrie I-40. I had just attached the Moultrie to a birch tree with the strap which came with the unit . Once the unit was in place I took off the side cover to put in the memory card.After inserting my memory card I put the cover back on and it just wouldn’t fit tight again because the plastic body was in my opinion designed incorrectly. The strap loop on the outside of the body is right next to the area where the side cover comes off to get at the memory card. When adjusting the strap to the birch tree it creates a distortion in the side cover area so that the cover won’t seal properly.

I have been happy with my purchase of the Moultrie I-40. By designing a camo security box, the strap issue is non-existent for me. One problem I have noticed is trigger time is quite slow. Might just be an adjustment I need to make. You can't beat this model for the price.
